We developed our own: VR chemistry lab, where students carry out step by step practicals in an immersive environment. We bring our educational posters to life with AR videos. GCSE level mobile game, which combines various STEM subjects and concepts in order for students to learn in a fun way

Our school, founded in 1957, has grown and evolved over the years. Today, 715 students aged 6-15 attend classes, supported by 49 dedicated teachers. We focus on connecting real-life experiences with education, offering integrated theme teaching and extended programs in English, Math, and natural sciences. Our school also offers a wide variety of extracurricular hobby groups.

Özel Matematik Fen Bilimleri Ortaokulu was established in 2009 and currently educates 500 students, from nursery to secondary school (ages 5-13). The school focuses on academic-level Maths and Science education while being attentive to global issues such as climate change, environmental awareness, gender equality, entrepreneurship, and scientific thinking. The aim is to raise productive, responsible pupils.

The school’s facilities include a sports yard with an organic garden, and it places strong emphasis on both sports and the arts, with several students receiving scholarships for swimming, martial arts, and visual arts. The school implements a comprehensive educational program that encourages students to explore the world, ask questions, and develop skills in literature, science, history, culture, and mathematics within a supportive environment.

 

Following a central curriculum, the school prioritizes high-quality teaching, student development, and preparation for active, responsible participation in social and economic activities. It offers design-ability workshops focusing on art, music, sports, culture, nature, and technology, fostering creativity and hands-on learning. Students also engage in activities promoting environmental awareness, including robotics, coding, and health education.

 

Every year, the school hosts local painting exhibitions on global warming, climate change, and human rights, reinforcing its commitment to global issues and creative expression.

The 1st Experimental Primary School of Alexandroupolis, located in a neoclassical building in the city center of north-eastern Greece, has a rich history dating back to the 1930s. It is the only experimental primary school in our prefecture, serving students aged 6-12, and operates in cooperation with the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education at the Democritus University of Thrace.

 

University students regularly attend classes and complete internships, guided by our highly qualified teachers who act as mentors. We emphasize innovative teaching practices, including the CLIL methodology for teaching English and the inquiry-based learning method for Maths, with the motto: 

“Teach children to learn how to learn.”

 

Our school welcomes students from diverse social backgrounds and offers extracurricular clubs in traditional dance, drama, robotics, literature, art, and choir. We have 235 students, 30 teachers, and support from a psychologist and social worker. The school is well-equipped with technology, including computers, projectors, interactive whiteboards, iPads for third graders, and LEGO WeDo 2.0 for STEM education.

 

As an eTwinning school, we are involved in various projects that promote the use of Web 2.0 tools, and many teachers also participate in Erasmus+ programs, fostering a strong national and European network. Our goal is to provide all students with a solid educational foundation, encouraging learning, participation, and collaboration.

 

We aim to build empathy, self-esteem, and acceptance, while focusing on sustainable development and digital literacy. Our school strives to cultivate active, responsible citizens through innovative educational activities and successful participation in European programs, including Comenius and Erasmus+ KA2 projects.

Primary School Darda is located in Darda, in the Osijek-Baranja County, northeastern Croatia, and was established in 1964. It serves 380 students aged 6 to 15, from 1st to 8th grade, with 42 teachers and professional staff including a pedagogue, special education teacher, and librarian. The school operates in two shifts—morning and afternoon—on a weekly rotation.

​

Students come from diverse social and ethnic backgrounds, representing four nationalities: Croats, Serbs, Hungarians, and Roma. The school is well-equipped with technology, including computers and projectors in every classroom, interactive whiteboards in some, and tablets for students in grades 5 to 8.

​

In addition to regular classes, students can participate in optional subjects like Informatics, German, Hungarian, and Serbian. The school offers a variety of extracurricular activities such as sports, dance, music, housekeeping, and Red Cross programs. From 1st grade, students can begin computer science education, and from 5th to 8th grade, robotics classes are available. Additional lessons in subjects like chemistry, biology, geography, and mathematics are offered for those who want to deepen their knowledge, and the school actively supports gifted students who participate in competitions.

The school has extensive experience with Erasmus and eTwinning projects, alongside participating in national initiatives like the Biosecurity and Bio-protection project. The school aims to engage students in science, develop their ICT skills, and prepare them for future education or the job market by offering hands-on projects and innovative learning methods.

Internationella Engelska Skolan Helsingborg is located in southern Sweden. It is a truly international school. Staff and students from all over the world contribute to a dynamic international atmosphere that everyone benefits from and enjoys. Our school is a safe and calm environment where teachers can teach and students learn, and we are committed to helping every child reach their full potential. We teach using the Swedish national curriculum and up to half the education in our school is delivered through the English language by qualified teachers from English-speaking countries including Canada, the USA, and the UK.

Our school regularly wins awards and is at the top of the academic results tables, contributing to a long student queue. Our school is free of charge for all students and entirely funded by the municipalities. Our mission is to provide a safe, disciplined learning environment that empowers all students to develop their full potential. The school is well-resourced with computing equipment, a range of practical equipment for science, mathematics, music and PE activities and resources to support language, mathematics, history and geography work. We also have a wide range of reading material to support the teaching of reading.

We have 500 students from grade 4 to grade 9 and 60 teachers. Students can choose between three modern foreign languages: Spanish, German, or French. We also offer the Arabic language as a mother tongue to a significant minority of our student population. In addition to regular classes, we have subject support and school clubs, such as a sports club, an art club, and a role-playing club. At our school, we support traditions and important days, such as the Christmas play and St. Lucia End of the Year Ceremonies... We aim to develop a positive attitude toward schoolwork in a multicultural environment.

Our school is a large public primary school located in the center of Giżycko, a town with over 29,500 residents, nestled between the Niegocin and Kisajno lakes in one of Poland's most scenic regions. We have over 700 students aged 7 to 14, supported by 73 highly qualified teachers and a school psychologist who specializes in helping students with special educational needs.

Our staff includes teachers with advanced degrees in various subjects such as science, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and art. We provide high-quality formal education alongside non-formal opportunities through extracurricular activities. All classrooms are equipped with ICT tools, including computers, multimedia projectors, and interactive whiteboards, which our teachers use to engage students through innovative methods like project-based learning.

Students at our school learn both English and German, with a special group dedicated to teaching Ukrainian as a minority language. Our students excel in cultural competitions in music, painting, and foreign languages, as well as in sports. Through international projects, we aim to enhance student participation in school activities, improve communication skills, and motivate them to collaborate with peers abroad.

 

We have been participating in Comenius and Erasmus+ projects since 2008, which have allowed our teachers to learn about different cultures, educational systems, and innovative teaching methodologies. These projects provide invaluable opportunities to exchange ideas and experiences with partner schools across Europe, fostering a global outlook for both staff and students.
